Okay. Any time I see a food truck, I feel like it’s necessary to stop. Like, 100% necessary. So of course, you can imagine my excitement when we spotted the Cookie Monstah food truck. Two of my favorite things: treats and food trucks all in one spot.
Though we weren’t at the actual Cookie Monstah store (which from my understanding was created after the success of the multiple food trucks) the cookies were so fresh, it was insane. Their website boasts a full list of flavors, including Chocolate Chunk, Salted Caramel, Sugared Sugar, Oreo Stuffed, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Ginger Molasses, Red Velvet, Peanut Butter, and M&M Sugar. We opted for the M&M Sugar, Chocolate Chunk, and Ginger Molasses (from left to right in the photo). They were warm, moist, and seemed fresh out of the oven, even though their oven was on four wheels.
Due to the fact that we showed up right after lunch, none of us could handle the ice cream stuffed version that they also offer on the truck. I suppose we caught this food truck by surprise, but it seems like everyone in Boston knows the trucks and their whereabouts. Had we planned our trip a little bit better, maybe we could have hit the truck more than once, but either way, the cookies were to die for.
